BEWARE!

BUYER BEWARE! Unfortunately, Mercia cannot be trusted to provide the advertised RAC approved inspection they claim to include on all their used cars. After purchasing, driving away and immediately identifying a number of problems on my BMW including the bonnet almost opening up whilst driving home they agreed to cover the cost of some minor issues back at my local garage (the car should never of left with these faults in the first place) and eventually compensated me £80 but I was left to cover cost of 2 tyres (not sealed at rims), replacement car battery (which I also reported flat to be told it was because car had been stood even though I had the battery tested and subsequently proved faulty with report) and air conditioning re-gas. I'd given them the opportunity to rectify or at least show some good will but have since been fobbed off. Quite frankly, the worst motor trader experience I've ever dealt with and I'd advise you think long and hard before choosing Mercia to buy a car from. There's much better and more professional dealers out there and as the name suggests - once you've driven away you're left at their Mercy!

Disgusting

Having worked for this company..

I know the tricks and shortcuts they do regarding their cars for sale.

Do not buy from them....

They have a very high turnover of staff and moral is very low.

RAC warranty is a joke..... isn't worth paper it's printed on..

Mini servicing and body repair

I bought my second hand Mini from this garage in Jan 2012 and have had it serviced there for the last 2 years. I have also had a body work repair done recently following damage to the car. On all occasions the garage has done what they said they would do and in the timescales set. They provide a value for money service and their customer service is excellent.
I recommended them to my husband and he now has his car serviced there and is completely satisfied with their service.

I have been using the garage for some time now and have found them helpful and responsive.my car is always ready on time and work done very satisfactory.
could well buy my next car from Mercia.

Mercia Motor's are dishonest.

Talked to Paul Walker about a 1990 Porsche 944 Turbo which they advertised as one of the best 944's they had seen.I don't live in England so I had to assume that what Paul was telling me was the truth.I paid a deposit of 2000 pounds for a 1990 Porshe 944 and was told by Paul Walker that he would email a receipt of the deposit and details the next day.I did not receive any email's from Paul.The next day I emailed him again asking for the deposit receipt and the engine number of the 944.Have still not received a receipt for the deposit and every time I ring Mercia Motors,Paul Walker gives the excuse that he is too busy at the moment to write a email to me and supposedly it will take him 20+ minutes to get the details from the car when the detail's would be on their computer.Do not believe anything that he tell's you,he is not honest and unless I get my deposit refunded,I will be getting the Police to sort this out.
